Boys Varsity Baseball falls to Wabash 3 – 2

The Braves dropped a tough game against Wabash 3-2 on Wednesday night. The Braves were down 1-0 after 4. Caiden Richards reached first base on a dropped third strike. He stole second and Jaiden Mercer hit a two-out double to tie the score at 1. The Braves trailed 2-1 going into the seventh inning. Braxtin Birner reached on a walk. Zach Stolz sacrificed Birner to second. Birner moved to third on a single by Mercer. Then he scored on a ball that bounced away from the catcher.

But Wabash put together back-to-back hits in the 8th to score the winning run.

Bennett Isenburg pitched the first seven innings. He allowed one earned run on one hit and stuck out 12 batters.

Isenburg also tripled for the Braves. Jacob Isley had the other hit for Maconaquah.

The Braves have a couple of days off before returning to action at Eastern Saturday morning.

Maconaquah Softball wins over Wabash

The Braves Softball Team traveled to Wabash Monday night.

Maconaquah started the game with a 2 run first inning and never looked back. Winning 9-1 in 7 inning game.

Every player in the starting lineup earned a hit on the night, highlighted by Senior Amaya Rader going 4-4. The Braves totaled 17 hits, 5 Stolen Bases.

Junior Blayklee Buman whirled 13 stikeouts, no walks, 2 hits, no earned runs in the circle.
