Manchester Baseball Falls At Warsaw

The Manchester Squires baseball team traveled to Warsaw on Saturday morning to face the Warsaw Tigers in a single game. The Squires lost the game 4-3.

The team had a very solid approach at the plate on Saturday. The guys came out driving baseballs but, at times, the hard hits did not result in base hits. The Squires did finish with 5 hits.

The Squire defense showed up ready to play, as they had no errors during the contest.

Payton Jones continued his hot streak at the plate by leading the Squires with two hits and an RBI.

Gavin Martin threw a nice game. He kept the Tigers off stride and had 6 strikeouts over 7 innings.
