Game 1
The Todd Adams State Farm Giants knock off the Kalenborn Wear Protection Solutions Orioles 19-6
For the Giants – Gage Starr received a game ball for a 3 RBI double that turned the tide of the game.
Otto Case received a second awarded game ball for shifting the mood of the game in our favor for a heads up steal at home. Otto also pitched 2 innings and held the Orioles to 6 runs.
Carson Day was 3 for 3 on the day with two singles and a double.
Caleb Vanlandingham doubled scoring 2 runs.
For the Orioles – Wyatt Poole, Layton Booth, and Trenton Flohr all pitched a good game. Bree Smith had great double and great catch at first on a foul ball. She had a great season. Chamberlain Hawkins did great at catcher, had a couple outs at home, and a good hit. All kids played well and improved – amazing.

In Game 2
It was the Lundquist Realty Red Sox edging the Sides Premier Properties Yankees 14-13
For the Red Sox – Colton McCoart and Max Gillenwater both pitched a great game. Colton Miller and Carson Dale led the way at the plate.
The Yankees were led at the plate by Jeremiah Baldwin and Marshall Dyson Marshall had 3 Hits and Jeremiah had 2 hits in the loss

The National League Tournament continued on Monday, 6/17/24.
In the first of two elimination games, the Wabash Hardware Giants were eliminated by the Crossroads Bank Red Sox. The final score was 20-19. The Giants scored 3 runs in the top of the first inning with hits from Connor Krom (single), Isaac Mattern (RBI single) and Nolan Achor (RBI double). The Red Sox scored 8 runs of their own in the bottom of the first, including hits from Coby Leland (single), Jameson Wallen (RBI single), Camden McKee (triple) and Easton Cantrell (RBI single). The Giants scored 2 runs in the second and one in the third. Noah Ross (single), Quinton Siders (RBI single), Maverick Mattern (single)Barrett Jones (RBI single) aided their team in scoring. The Red Sox added 4 runs to their total with contributions from the benefit of a couple walks and hits from Easton Cantrell (single) and Myles Leland (RBI double). Scoring 6 runs in the 4th inning, the Giants capitalized on hits from Connor Krom (single), Gavin Trotter (2 RBI single), Bo McWhirt (2 RBI double), Isaac Mattern (double) and Nolan Achor (RBI single). The Red Sox scored one in the 4th inning courtesy of a walk and a Jameson Wallen RBI triple. They scored another 3 in the 5th inning starting with a lead off single from Camden McKee and aided by 3 more walks and 2 hit batters. The Giants led 19-16 going into the bottom of the 6th inning. The Red Sox benefited from three walks and a Camden McKee single. Ezra Williams drove in the winning run. Giant’s relievers Quinton Siders and Bo McWhirt both struck out 2 batters. Red Sox starter Camden McKee struck out 3 batters. Relievers Grady Lehner had 3 strikeouts and Jimmy Deck had 2.

In the second elimination game of the night, the Intrasect Technologies Blackhawks lost to the Kendall Electric Yankees by a score of 7-2. The Yankees jumped out to an early 3-0 lead with hits from Hudson Haupert (single) and Harry Sorg (RBI single). They added another 3 runs in the 2nd inning starting with a Carter Diener walk preceded by a Hudson Haupert single and Weston Smith single. They scored one more run in the 3rd. Jarin Denney added a single in the 6th inning. The Blackhawks got on the board with one run in the 4th inning with the aid of a Mathis Holbert double. Maddy Stahl led the 5th inning with a single, her second of the night. She scored their second run of the night on a pass ball. Starter Hudson Haupert struck out 6 batters with no walks and one hit. Relievers Harry Sorg and Wiley Sorg both added 2 strikeouts of their own. Blackhawks starter Jayce Kirkpatrick struck out 2 batters. Reliever Mathis Holbert had 8 strikeouts.
