Wabash Wins Manchester Golf Invite
Wabash High School shot 206 as a team to win the three-way invitational with Manchester (220) and Northfield (213).
The stand-out performance was by Senior Emma Adams who shot 44. Freshman Katlyn Brewer shot 52 to follow up her hot start to the season. Seniors Kenley Mcwhirt and Sydney Till shot 53 and 57 respectively to give the Lady Apaches a score of 206. Kayle Indrutz rounds out the scoring with a 58.
The Lady Norse traveled to Sycamore Golf Club to compete in the Manchester Invite. The team placed 2nd overall and leading the way was Ayla Dale with a 48 followed by Addy Sorg with a 53. Freshmen Montgomerie Dawes had a great night with a 54 which included a chip in and rounding out the scoring was Emma Wilson with a 58. Hanna Otey also played a solid round but did not score for the team.
Freshman Piper Spangle led the Lady Squires golf team with a solid 48 in her first high school competition. Wabash won the match led by a quality 44 from their #2, and Northfield took 2nd place for the evening.
