The Northfield Lady Norse golf team kicked off the 2026 season with an impressive debut at the Harrison Invitational in West Lafayette. The Lady Norse finished 3rd out of 16 total teams,
The Norse lost only to a very strong Zionsville squad and only one stroke short of beating another respectable team in Harrison.
Leading the way for the Norse was senior Addy Sorg shooting an impressive and career low tying round of 83. Senior Vivian Haupert and sophomore Kassidy Cartwright both shot a strong score of 95 for the Norse. Junior Montgomrie Dawes and senior Ayla Dale rounded out the scoring with 98.
The Norse are now 13-2 to kickstart their season. Next match is Tuesday, August 4th, as they head to Maple Grove to compete in the Huntington North Invitational.
