The Northfield and Wabash girls golf team played in the Huntington North Invite Tuesday morning.
The Lady Norse tournament play was quite impressive as they shot another great team score of 351, earning them a 2nd place finish out of 9 teams and falling short by only 3 strokes to a last year state finalist team in Carroll FW.
The charge was led by sophomore Kassidy Cartwright who shot a career high of 85, giving her a 4th place finish overall individually. The senior trio of Addison Sorg, Ayla Dale, and Vivian Haupert had themselves a day by firing an 87, 89, and 90, earning them a 6th, 7th, and 9th place finish overall. The icing on the cake for the whole day was junior Montgomrie Dawes, who had herself a day and wanted to contribute to the fun shooting a career tournament best firing a strong 93.
Wabash was led by Kaitlyn Brewer, firing a 92.

Both team will be at the Manchester Invite Thursday with the host Squires and Marion.
