Lady Norse/Apaches Golf Headed To Regional
All four Wabash County golf teams played in the Eastbrook sectional at Arbor Trace Saturday with the Northfield Lady Norse finishing second and the Wabash Lady Apaches third to advance to next Friday’s regional at Noble Hawk.
The NHS Girls Golf Team finished 2nd at sectionals on Saturday with a team score of 381. They will advance to the regional at Noble Hawk Golf Course for the 3rd straight year. Ainsley Dale lead the way with an 89, Alex Cartwright came in with a 91, Hannah Wilson shot her best for the year with a 94, Kylie Leland also shot her best for the year with a 107, and Ella Satterthwaite came in with a 113.
The Apaches shoot the lowest net score of the season, 394, to finish 3rd and qualify for regionals. Freshman Kenley Mchirt lead the apaches with a 92, Annie Cole shot a 95 Emma Adams shot a 100 and Corrine Kugler shot a 107. Aubrey Till shot a 108 for the 5th spot.
