Whitko Wildcats Defeats Maconaquah, 4-1

Whitko Wildcats wins contest against Maconaquah on Thursday, 4-1

Whitko Wildcats fired up the offense in the second inning. Logan Hoffman singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Riley Harman got the win for Whitko Wildcats. Harman allowed six hits and one run over seven innings, striking out ten and walking one.

Brandon Smitley took the loss for Maconaquah. The pitcher went three innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out two.

Max Platt went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Whitko Wildcats in hits. Whitko Wildcats tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Hoffman led the way with two.

Whitko softball falls to Oak Hill 7-2. The Wildcats were hanging with the Eagles but had one bad inning and couldn’t recover. Addie Garr and Cassidy Skinner combined for the loss in the circle, both gave up 1 earned run each. Kaylee Adkins, Maddie Cripe, Taylor Long, Brooklyn Cooley, and Adriyanna Phillips all had one hit each. Addie Garr hit a single and a home run.
The Lady Wildcats are back in action Monday, May 8 against Southwood.
