The Wabash Lady Apaches defeated North Miami 56-47 Saturday.
The Lady Apaches jumped out to an early lead and never gave it up despite numerous North Miami runs. Wabash would lead 12-8 at the first stop and 23-16 at the half despite 17 first half turnovers. The second half would see the Lady Apaches take double digit leads only to have the Lady Warriors cut it to 5 or 6 a number of times.
Wabash, now 10-11, were led by Kierra Wilson & Kait Honeycutt with 17 & 15 points.
