Maconaquah Middle School with a solid win over Rochester. Winners for Maconaquah included Max Berryman, Dax Mooney, Sarah Klepinger at singles, and Evelyn Hanson, Mikey Waun, Gideon Pier, Brenna McClain, Lukas Merritt, Emma Crowder, Oliver Newton, Owen Worley, Xavier Rutherford, Kenli Jenkins, Ryker Peters, Noah Hoeksema, Lucy Berryman, Mary Davis, Alex Mitchell, Zayden Betzner, Sawyer Beitz, and Sophi Farmer at doubles.
Varsity vs Southwood Jr-Sr High School Loss The Lady Braves went to Southwood for a conference match Tuesday against the undefeated Knights. Though we made them make plays, we had no answer for their strong serves, ball control, and power and at the net. Southwood came away victorious 25-16, 25-13, 25-9. Alyssa Birner and Ireland Kile both had four kills and three blocks each to lead the Braves at the net. Libero Addie Maiben had 12 digs and 17 serve receptions in the back row. We are now 12-7(3-2 TRC) on the season. The JV team fought hard but fell in two sets 20-25, 15-25. The Ladies travel to Western Thursday night.
