The Metro Rage soccer team braved the heat Friday and Saturday in Indianapolis and Muncie.
On Friday the Rage played in a jamboree. In game one, the Rage beat Colonial Christian 2-1. Both goals were by Mason Lyons. In game two, the Rage beat FC Tsunami 3-2 on the power of a hat trick by Logan Lyons.
The Rage lost 1-0 in a hard fought contest.
The Rage varsity opened the regular season with a 2-0 loss to the East Central Strikers. Hard fought game on another warm day after 120 minutes of soccer in Indy the day before.
Defensive player of the match was Tanner Chapman and offensive player of the match was Jacob Beachler.
