The Manchester boys tennis team defeated North Miami 5-3 Tuesday.
In the first half Manchester out possessed the ball with a passing ratio of ~2:1 but did not find the net until the 28th minute. The first goal came by Isaiah Acosta (Junior), with an excellent through ball assisting pass played by Carson Heath (Senior).
In the second half North Miami tied it at 1-1 until Hugo Montero (Sophomore) found the back of the net with an assist by Isaiah Acosta (Junior). North Miami then tied again at 2-2 which flipped a switch for Manchester.
Eddy Guerrero (Sophomore) assisted Wyatt Schroll (Junior) to go up 3-2.
Isaiah Acosta (Junior) assisted by Wyatt Schroll (Sophomore) made it 4-2.
Isaiah Acosta (Junior) assisted by Wyatt Schroll (Sophomore) scored the 5th and final goal for Manchester.
Manchester’s excellent defense was lead up by Masin Davila (Senior) as keeper. With Holden Poston leading the defensive line on the back.
