
The Manchester girls soccer team defeated Wabash 8-0 Tuesday.
Manchester scored twice in the first half to take a 2-0 lead into the break. In the second half, the Squires finished their chances well, scoring six more goals to close out the win.
The defense stayed strong all night, not allowing Wabash many chances and helping secure the shutout. Maggie Onderko-White, Chase Blevins, Olivia Stevens, and Brooklynn Grimes did a great job possessing the ball and controlling the attacks. Shiann Owens had 2 saves.

Wabash freshman goalkeeper Brynn Lindsay was busy with allowing 8 goals, but also have 21 saves on the night. Brynn Lindsay continues to improve in each showing. Very strong minutes from freshmen Hope Fritter, Ember Christle, Baelee Noland and senior Raegan Jones in the midfield. Senior Logan Wright was the only Lady Apache to put shots on goal, with 2 just near misses in the upper corner. This wraps up conference play for Wabash. The Lady Apaches are back in action again Thursday at home vs Lapel at 6pm.
