The Braves fell to the Devils in the first set. After that the Braves decided to pick it up. Playing it close in each set, the Braves pulled through for the next 3 sets. The scrappiness and hustle allowed the Braves to do so. After adjusting to their play, we were able to control the tempo of the game and put the ball away when needed.

Leading the team in aces is Averie Maiben with 4. Middle hitter Ireland Kile led us with 13 kills placing the ball where it was open. And following her with 10 kills was Nekane Hernandez. Setter Delaney Betzner led in assists with 15 and Averie Maiben had 12 assists. Our middle back Aubrey Kaiser had 16 digs and the Libero Addie Maiben had 13.

The Lady Braves came out strong with Hattie Hatcher serving for 10 points (5 aces) on her first turn with help from her teammates in passing by Ellie Chilcutt and Ruby Kintner, well placed tips by Adela Houlihan and Eden Davis, blocking and spike kills by Dena Salazar, and keeping the ball alive in rallies by Maleiya Brock and Kinsley Rich. In the end the Zebras fought back and won 25-23 and finished set 2 8-25 with strong serves and finishing the volleys.
