Several Wabash County track athletes are headed to the Indoor state finals.

Wabash senior Coleson Kugler qualified for the HSR Finals in the 60 meter dash next Saturday in Indianapolis by virtue of his 6.99 clocking. To qualify for the HSR Finals an athlete needs to post a top 24 mark in their respective event over the course of the last 3 weeks. The Distance Medley Relay of James Unger, Kamden Oswalt, Coleson Kugler, and Ezra Church recorded their best time of the indoor season – 11:37. The 4×8 relay of Luis Trejo, Carsen Morgan, Landen Fisher, and Carter Pegg competed fiercely. Luis and Carsen ran PR’s on their particular legs of the relay. Preston Cantrell also ran in the 60m dash for the first time clocking an 8.0 second Keaton Fairchild put the shot 34′ an almost 3 foot improvement.
