Lady Squires To Meet Oak Hill For Sectional Championship

The Manchester Lady Squires played their way into the sectional championship by defeating Lewis Cass 45-39 in the semi finals Saturday.

The Squires led 17-10 after the first stop before the offense went cold in the second, scoring just 8 points. Lewis Cass would out score Manchester 12-8 in the quarter to cut the Squires lead to 25-22 at the half.

Cass would play the Squires even in the third before Manchester pulled away in the fourth for the 45-39 win.

Emma West- 1 point, 5 steals, 2 assists, 1 rebound

With the win Manchester will play #3 Oak Hill Monday for the sectional championship.
