Wabash JH Soccer Falls To Manchester
Wabash Coed MS Soccer faced off against Manchester JH Thursday at LH Carpenter Field in its season opener.
The Apaches held the Squires to 1 goal in the first half of play, with keeper Hannah Layne denying 8 shots. Defenders B. Craft, S. Blossom, D. Coffman and K. Jones assisted Layne in limiting Manchetser’s attempts on goal. On the offensive end, Wabash’s Solomon France scored the Apache’s lone goal within the first minute of play in the second half. Additional shots on goal came from J. France and R. Yoakum, with K. Wilson and T. Guenin-Hodson assisting in their efforts. Despite dominating possession minutes,
Wabash fell to the Squires 3-1. The Apaches will travel to Maconaquah JH on Monday, April 15 for its next contest.
