The Wabash Lady Apaches out hit Marion just 6-4, but timely hitting along with taking advantage of 6 Giants errors led Wabash to a 12-2 five inning win Friday.
Wabash led 1-0 after the first inning before exploding for 8 runs in the second. The Apaches collected four singles and four walks in the inning along with Marion committing one error to lead 9-0.
Marion would score 2 runs in the fourth with Wabash answering in the bottom of the inning. Wabash scored both runs without collecting a hit.
The Apaches would get the run they needed in the fifth when Whitney Working singled and scored on a Kamden Pries ground to end the game in five.
