The Wabash Lady Apaches led after five innings Tuesday, before giving up 7 runs in the sixth in a 10-6 loss to Bluffton.
Wabash led 2-1 after the first inning. Kylie Brumley led off with a walk and advanced to second when Katie Newman reached on an error. With two outs Sydnee Osborn would single home both runners.
Wabash trailed 3-2 heading to the fourth when Tabby Wagner led off with a single. Taylor Mettler followed with a single before a sac bunt by Kelsie Olinger moved both runners. Whitney Working would then double home Wagner and Mettler to lead 4-3. Brumley would follow with a pop up that scored Working for a 5-3 lead.
Bluffton would plate 7 runs in the sixth inning to grab a 10-5 lead with the Apaches plating a run in the seventh for the 10-6 final.
