The Manchester girls soccer team lost a tough battle against Columbia City today 2-0 Monday.
Both of the Lady Eagles’ goals came in the first half while Manchester couldn’t find the back of the net. Manchester and Columbia City were scoreless in the second half.
Kindra Stetzel was phenomenal in goal and had 18 saves for the night. Lex Donathan, Kayla Metzger, Haley Clifford, Torina Runkel and Hadley Schannep played great defense closing down numerous runs and attacks from the Lady Eagles. Emma Garriott had a couple scoring opportunities while Lainey Shock, Bailey Mooney, Gabbie Brewer and Beletu Stout played well throughout the game.
Manchester will play again on Wednesday at home against Mississinewa.
