Lady Norse Win At Mississinewa

The Northfield Lady Norse jumped on Mississinewa early in route to a 57-40 win over the Indians Thursday.

The Norse jumped out to a quick 8-3 lead and led 19-9 after the first stop.

Mississinewa would score the first 10 points of the second quarter to tie the score before the Norse responded by scoring 10 of the last 12 points of the quarter to lead 29-21 at the half.

Leading 32-25 early in the third the Norse would go on a 10-0 run to open a 42-25 lead and led 48-28 with a quarter to go.

The Indians would out score the Norse 12-9 in the final stanza for the 57-40 final.

Addi Baker led the way with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Emma Hoover had 20 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Kyra Kennedy had 11 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists. Kearston Stout added 5 points

The Northfield junior varsity fell to Mississinewa 46-29.
