Lady Norse 6th Stops Wabash

The 6th Grade Northfield Lady Norse pushed the tempo with several steals and fast breaks to start the game, defeating Wabash 60-5 Tuesday.

Faith Krom led the attack with 22 points. Laney Haupert and Ayla Dale were next in the scorring column with 8 and 6 points, respectively. Wabash couldn’t stop all of our scoring threats as Nichole Fisher, Claire Brainard, Emma Wilson, Millie Higgins, and Addison Sorg added 4 points each. Mikayla Meyer and Viv Haupert rounded out the team effort with a bucket each.

The 6th Grade Lady Norse continued the great team effort in Game 2 vs Wabash coming up with a 32-2 victory. Lilli Koonce worked hard on both ends of the floor and led the team with 10 points and 10 rebounds for her first Double-Double! Mikayla Meyer added 6 points. Addison Sorg and Emma Wilson each had 2 buckets and together pulled down 12 rebounds! Nichole Fisher, Claire Brainard, Kaedence Mitchell, and Emme Hanes each added a bucket! What a team effort … All 13 Lady Norse worked hard, played unselfish, and all got in the scoring column
