The Lady Norse 6th grade beat a big and physical Whitko team during their last home game of the season.

The Lady Norse jumped out to a quick start and ended the first quarter up 6 – 2. They were consistent and scored another 6 in the second quarter to go into halftime up 12 – 7. The girls extended their lead in the second half and finished strong with a 26 – 15 victory. Our Bigs were tough on the glass as they pulled down 33 of our 41 rebounds. Faith Krom led the scoring and rebounding effort with 8 points and 11 rebounds. Ayla Dale and Viv Haupert each added 6 points. Millie Higgins, Addison Sorg, and Emma Wilson each added a bucket and ripped down 9, 8, and 5 rebounds! Way to dominate the glass, girls! Laney Haupert and Nichole Fisher had a great defensive game, as well! The Lady Norse finished perfect at home this season going 5 – 0 at home.

The Lady Norse were consistent in the second game as they were victorious over Whitko with a score of 26 – 16. Mikayla Meyer shot lights out and led the team with 10 points. Faith Krom also had 10 points … many of her points came from running the floor on fast breaks. Emma Wilson added a bucket and 8 rebounds. Claire Brainard and Addison Sorg rounded out the scoring column with 2 points each. Lilli Koonce went up strong & tore down 9 rebounds! Kaedence Mitchell played with heart and hustle as we held the Wildcats to just 6 2nd half points. Way to go,
