Manchester Tennis Goes Unbeaten At Canterbury
The Manchester tennis team went 2-0 on a rain shortened Canterbury Invite Saturday.
Manchester started out the day defeating Mississinewa 3-2.

With the tournament win secured (FW Snider has lost 2-3 to each Mississinewa and Canterbury), Manchester began its third match of the day. Most matches were midway through the first set (although Halle Briner and Eva Bazzoni were nearly done with set one in their first ever doubles team pairing) as the sprinkles turned to light rain thus ending play for the day . Coach Eichenauer commented, “We were extremely happy to get these matches in as the weather held dry longer in Fort Wayne. After two snow/rain postponements and the Thursday Wawasee match canceled due to their Covid issues, we really needed to play this week. What a great day for our team to play some strong schools and bring home a trophy! Manchester travels to Rochester on Monday and Northfield on Tuesday before hosting #14 ranked FW Carroll on Thursday
