Norse Wrestlers Compete
Northfield’s lady wrestlers traveled to compete in the Lebanon High School’s Girl’s Wrestling Tournament Saturday.
The tournament consisted of over 170 female wrestlers from 39 schools from three different states.
As a team, the ladies finished 17th of 39 teams. Ella Gahl finished 4-1 for the day, taking 2nd place in 120lbs. Gahl’s weight class had 24 wrestlers with two brackets, and her only loss was to be the # 1 ranked/two-time state champion in the weight class. Asia Miller finished 7th in the 126lbs weight class. Alexis Gates finished 0-3 for the day fighting hard every match.
Northfield’s Junior Varsity wrestled at the Plymouth JV Tournament this Saturday.
