Manchester Golf 5th At Bruin Invite
The Manchester Squires Boys Golf team had a solid start to the season, placing 5th out of 10 teams at the Bruin Invitational at Colonial Oaks Golf Club.
Leading the squires was senior Owen Kruschwitz who fired a 76, good enough for a Third Place individual finish out of nearly 100 golfers. Second for the squires was Freshman Connor Trump who shot a solid 91 in his first high school golf tournament. The course was wet and the weather was very cold, so conditions were difficult for scoring. Next for the Squires was Conner Lauer who shot a 93, Brady Wiley with a 96, and Jackson Felgar with a 104.
With a team score of 356, Manchester cut 33 strokes off of their performance at this invite last season for a great start to the year. Our next tournament will be the Whitko Invite at our home course of Sycamore Golf Club on Saturday, April 23rd.
