Six Manchester Track Stars Headed To State Finals

A phenomenal night at the Goshen Regional Track Meet as Manchester places 3rd as a team, qualifies 4 events for state, and is regional champion in 3 events.

Lincoln wins the 110H and 300H, the 4×4 (Cummins, Ream, Jones, Lincoln) wins, and Haecker finishes 3rd in HJ with a PR of 6’4” to all qualify for the IHSAA State Meet next weekend at IU. The 4×1 (Cummins, Ream, Fortman, Gaerte) also scored in 5th place

Olivia Auler is state bound! She placed 3rd in the 100m dash.

Highlights of Regional action for the Lady Knights included 4 main events.

In the Long Jump, Bryn Mealy placed 9th with a jump of 15′ 7.5 inches.

The 4 x 800 m Relay Team of Mya Denney, Amelia Sweet, Jaiya Corn, and Aleia Sweet finished 15th overall.

The 4 x 400 m Relay Team of Marissa Metzger, Alaina Winer, Bryn Mealy, and Aleia Sweet finished 2nd in their heat, setting a new PR of 4:16.85.

Bryn Mealy gave another outstanding performance in the 800 M Run by finishing 4th overall and setting a new school record of 2:21.34.
