Knights XC Runs At West Noble
The Southwood cross country teams ran in the West Noble Invite Saturday.
Representing the Lady Knights was Jaiya Corn who finished in a time of 25:12 and placing 148th in a field of 250 runners.
The boys meet displayed a highly competitive field of 215 runners and 28 schools represented in the varsity race. Casey Boardman finished 100th in a time of 18:53. Close on Boardman’s heels throughout the race was Luke Andrews, finishing 109th in a time of 19:04.1. Landon Mitchell finished 141st in a time of 20:06.6. Devin Danzy placed 202nd.
The Knights will compete in the New Haven Invitational next Saturday, held at Huntington University.
