The Wabash boys Soccer team earned a 9-0 victory over Peru Tuesday night.

Jacob France scored five goals and Troy Guenin-Hodson collected his first hat-trick.

Wabash controlled the game from the start and launched wave after wave of attacks. France’s speed proved too much for the Peru defense. Late in the game it was Guenin-Hodson”s turn to use his speed to get past defenders to earn 1 v 1’s with the Peru keeper. Along the way, midfielder Kolton Wilson sneaked a goal past the keeper for Wabash’s other goal.

Wilson, Solomon France, and Jacob Fuchs secured the midfield while Will Gallley, Prestyn Jones, Spencer Stout, and Brodie Craft combined to deny Peru good looks at goal. Isaac Byers and Coleson Kugler locked down the shutout in goal.

Wabash is now 3-2 in the TRC and 6-4-1 overall. Nest up is a trip to Tri-Central on Thursday for a 5:45 kickoff.
