The Wabash Lady Apaches finished their TRC conference play with a big win over Maconaquah with a score of 2-1.

Senior goalkeeper Hannah Layne played a tremendous game with 14 saves and allowing just 1 goal off the very dangerous Maconaquah offense. Junior Kiana Jones lead the Lady Apache defensive effort with senior Abbie Boggs, junior Talia Carrillo, and freshman Jaycee Jones. Senior Libby Mattern, junior Natalie Adams and sophomore Kait Honeycutt all worked to control the center of the field for Wabash and contain Maconaquah’s offensive threats as well as distributing to spring our offense into action.

Senior Rylee Yoakum kept the offensive pressure on for Wabash, putting away another unassisted goal. Sophomore Graci Napier and junior Irma Robles worked hard the entire game to keep the pressure on and it paid off with a Robles goal and Napier assist. The Lady Apaches finish 5-1 in the TRC and improve to 8-2 on the season. Wabash is back in action again tomorrow at home as they take on Tri-Central with a kickoff time of 6pm.
