The boys soccer team fell to Maconaquah 8-0

Nolan Bohn showing no signs of giving up on this match. Regardless of score, Nolan Bohn kept his energy and moral high. It’s refreshing to see players keep pushing till the very last second of the game.

Peru Lady Tigers couldn’t hold on to the lead against the Comets falling in 5 sets 25-21, 25-17, 12-25, 19-25, 11-15. Seniors Annika Malone and Emily Ream racked up 10 service points each. Ream also came up with 31 digs. Senior Jayma Majors led with 11 kills and 14 assists for the Tigers. Senior Caitlyn Miller crushed 10 kills. Senior Emma Eldridge dug up 20 digs and gave 14 assists. Peru will celebrate Senior Night next Thursday when we face Wabash at our final home game.

Peru girls played their senior night last night celebrating 6 seniors and 2 foreign exchange students. Mackey Hyde, Brianna Bennett, Cameryn Raber, Karissa Cox, Katelyn Cox, Jazzy Korving, Jessy & Hanne.

Peru held their own for the first half, with only playing 10 girls again. Getting Manchester players in a fluster with our defense catching them offsides 4 times. We had 4 shots on goal from Brianna, karisaa and Jazzy. Mackey had an amazing night in goal with 25 keeper saves.

Tough night for the Lady Tigers on Tuesday at Culver Community. Tigers were battling low numers due to injuries and the weather did not play in their favor either. But with returning player Katelyn Cox to the field recently from an ACL tear last October brought her to her first goal of the season from a PK in the box. Second goal of the night from Brianna Bennett. Makey Hyde with 12 saves.
