Manchester Junior/Senior High School Coed Unified Flag Football falls to Tippecanoe Valley High School 25-14
Cody Lengel completes a pass with two strong runs by Rheise Baker to gain 12 yards. Cody Lengel coming hard with extra pressure on the quarter back. Rheise Baker with a long run for a Squire touchdown! At the end of the first half it’s Valley 25 Manchester 6 Gavin Martin three interceptions and one flag pull. Gavin Betten four flags pulled one interception. Carter Wagoner, Brady Miller, Lily Perkins, Jacob Emerick, Peyton Baker, and Alex Perkins all adding to Squire plays in both offense and defense for the first half to keep the Squires in the heat of the game. The second half starts with a big run for Gavin Martin for a first down. Gavin Betten scrambles for a 4 yard gain. Great runs by Cody Lengel and Peyton Baker to help push the Squires down the field. A big run by Alex Perkins for a touchdown. Peyton Baker with a two point conversion and a touchdown dance brings the score to 25-14. The Squires season comes to an end after this well played game against Valley. I can’t say enough about the fantastic sportsmanship shown throughout this whole year by the Squires. Truly knowing what Unified sports are all about.
