Squires Beat Peru On Buzzer Beater

Manchester’s Gavin Betten hit a shot and was fouled with fourth tenths of a second left as the Squires defeated Peru 54-51 Friday.

The Squires trailed most of the game but were able pull out a win in the final seconds of a hard fought conference game.

The Squires were led by Ethan Hendrix with 13 points, Tyler McLain 12, Gavin Betten 11, Gavin Martin 7, Trevor Heath 7, Carter Wagoner 3, and Wyatt Prater 1 point.

The Squires travel to Lakeland Christian on Tuesday and then Maconaquah on Friday.
