The Oak Hill Golden Eagles were able to defeat Wabash and Southwood at the Honeywell Golf Couse, medalist for the golf match was Kamrom Cabe who shot 39. Carson Hess shot 42, Trent Nelson 44, Casey Griffin 44, Carter Elkins 44, and Henry Cripe 52. The Eagles are back in action Thursday night Vs Madison Grant at Arbor Trace.

Oak Hill High School Boys Varsity Track finishes 1st place at Elwood/Eastbrook

The OHTF Golden Eagles scored 103 points to earn three wins Tuesday in a quad meet with host Elwood, Eastbrook, and Liberty Christian.

In all Golden Eagle athletes won half of the 14 events (Long Jump & Pole Vault were not scored) while taking runner up honors in 9 other events.

Senior Lucas Hasty continued to lead the Golden Eagles winning 3 events and taking 2nd in another. Hasty swept both hurdle races winning the 110 and 300 Meter Hurdles while also anchoring the 1st place 4×400 Meter Relay team. Hasty also was part of the 4×100 Meter Relay that took 2nd. Joining Hasty on the winning 4×4 was Sophomores Morshown Cotton and Lance Wyrick along with fellow Senior Landon Biegel. Cotton joined Hasty on the runner up 4×1 along with Senior Kyle Turanchick and Junior Levi Trexler. Wyrick was 2nd to Hasty in the 300 Hurdles while Biegel took 2nd place in both the High Jump and 400 Meter Dash.

Junior Golden Eagle Owen Jackson was the only other multi event winner as Jackson doubled up for wins in the 1600 and 3200 Meter Runs. The 4×800 Meter Golden Eagle Relay team started the meet off taking 1st as well. Team members included Juniors Trenton Sweet and Toby Sneed along with Sophomores Owen Roth and Owen Middlesworth. It was the 1st Varsity wins for both Roth and Middlesworth.

The Golden Eagles swept the throwing events with Senior Silas Jones and Junior Ajay Papai going 1-2 in the Shot Put while Seniors Wyatt Strange and Parker Bailey wnent 1-2 in the Discus.

The Golden Eagles are now 6-0 on the season and compete in two meets this weekend. The Varsity core group competes Saturday April 22nd in the Frankfort Hot Dog Invitational while the Junior Varsity competes at the Varsity level as part of the North Miami Warrior Relays Friday April 21st.

Oak Hill High School Girls Varsity Track finishes 1st place at Elwood/Eastbrook

The OHTF Lady Eagles scored 85.5 points Tuesday to earn three wins in a quad meet against host Elwood, Eastbrook, and Liberty Christian. Despite being down a handful of normal varsity contributors due to Academic Team Competition and Drama Rehearsal the Lady Eagles managed to pull out the wins while winning just 4 total events. In all though the Lady Eagles also collected 11 runner up finishes in the scored 14 events (Pole Vault and Long Jump were not scored).

Sophomore Ellie Campbell and Freshman Biruk Travis led the way for the Lady Eagles each earning 2 wins. Campbell won the 100 Meter Dash in one of the Top 10 times in pogram history while doubling back to win the 200 Meter Dash as well. Sophomore Riley Alfandre took 2nd to Campbell in the 200 while Freshman Audrey Rex did the same in the 100. Travis swept the 1600 and 800 Meter Runs while classmate Sophia Rowland took runner up honors in both on her Birthday.

Other strong performances for the Lady Eagles were Senior Kate Thompson’s 2 runner up finishes in both hurdle races and classmate Lauren Rex who led the way in the field events taking 2nd in the Shot Put and 3rd in the Discus.

Sophomore Audrey Woodard earned a par of runner up finishes in the 3200 Meter Run and part of the 4×800 Meter Relay. Joining her on the relay was classmate Abby Sneed, Junior Evelin Perez, and Freshman Addison Carey. Pereze and Carey both had a good night runnin the 800 Meter Run for the first time in their careers. Sneed took 3rd in the 3200 Meter Run behind Woodard as well.
