Varsity Volleyball falls to Eastern Jr/Sr 3 – 0

After a long weekend, the varsity girls started off the week with a game day. The girls had close rallies with the Comets with close losses each set. The Lady Eagles were tied multiple times throughout each set. In all three sets the Lady Eagles and Comets would both be at 20-20, but the Lady Eagles could not pull through. Eastern kept momentem and left Oak Hill with a three set win. A tough loss tonight for the Lady Eagles.

Braeleigh Evans led the team with 27 digs, Isabelle Dominisse with 2 solo blocks, Alivia Shaw with 26 assists, Braeleigh Evans and Alivia Shaw with 2 aces and Morgan Cates with 8 kills, no errors.

The Lady Eagles will be back in action on Thursday with a conference home game against Eastbrook.

Boys Varsity Soccer defeats Wabash 3-0

The Eagles beat the Apaches on their home turf tonight winning 3-0. All three goals for the Eagles were scored in the second half of the game. Ramses Mora got the scoring started scoring an unassisted goal 7 minutes into the second half. It was quickly followed by a goal scored by Drew Elzinga, assisted by Luke Elzinga. Finally, with 6 minutes left in the game, Trevor Baker scored a goal assisted by Drew Elzinga. Collin Kreitzer had another clean sheet. There was only one shot on goal the entire game which was a PK. The Boys Varsity Soccer Eagles are now 7-1 and will be facing the Eastern Comets this Thursday at home.
