Lady Squires Out Last Lewis Cass
The Manchester volleyball team defeated Lewis Cass in five sets Thursday.
The Squires hosted TRC newcomer Lewis Cass on Thursday. It took 5 sets, but the Squires were able to win the conference matchup 25-22, 25-18, 17-25, 20-25, 15-7.
Peyton Ream led the Squires with an amazing statline of 26 assists, 20 digs, and 22 service points.
Myla Crozier had 14 kills on the night followed closely by McKelvey Espeset with 10. McKelvey also had another big night blocking where she totaled 6 blocks. Gracie Lauer, Ava Felgar, Lauryn Reichenbach, and Izzy Renz also provided some timely kills.
We had some more good passing games from Paxton Baker with 25 receptions and 12 digs, Marley Bellinger with 10 receptions and 10 digs, Hadley West with 8 receptions and 12 digs, and Myla Crozier with 22 receptions and 7 digs.
The Squires are in action this Saturday at the Eastbrook Invite where they’ll face Eastern, Taylor, Eastbrook, and North Miami. Next Thursday, the Squires head to Maconaquah for another conference match.
