County Goes 500 In Sectional Openers

All four Wabash County football teams opened sectional play Friday with two teams winning and two losing.

In 2A sectionals Manchester defeated Whitko 49-19 while Wabash fell to Eastside 48-7. In 1A Southwood defeated Fremont 38-14 while Northfield fell to Madison Grant 50-0.

Wabash County Sports covered the Southwood game. Game summaries and stats from the other three games will be added when received.
