Norse Wrestlers Edge Maconaquah
The Northfield wrestling team defeated Maconaquah 40-39 Thursday.
Northfield extended their seven dual meet winning streak.
Freshmen Kaedance Mitchell, Corbin Goshert, and Cail Dunphy all earned six team points by a forfeit and pins respectfully. Sophomore Jace Phillips and Luke Eviston won by pin, while Tayten Barlow won by a major decision. Sealing the victory was Senior Baden Turner winning his match by injury default.

The Varsity Norsemen next travel to Northridge High School to compete in the Boldt McDonald’s Raider Duals on Saturday, December 9th. Additionally, the Lady Norsemen travel to Lebanon High School to compete in the Tigers’ Girls Wrestling.
