Girls Varsity Basketball falls to Alexandria Monroe 50 – 34

Oak Hill lost a tough one tonight at Alexandria. It was our final conference game of the year. Oak Hill was leading by 2 at the end of the first quarter and down one at the half. The third quarter was the difference on the game as Alexandria won that quarter by 11. The Lady Eagles fought the entire way through the fourth even as the fouls piled up. Tuesday night is the final regular season game of the year, it is senior night so come out and celebrate our wonderful seniors!

Scoring tonight was led by Liz Godfrey with 10, Lydia Trexler and Morgan Cates both added 6 apiece, Alivia Shaw had 5, Landri Hardman had 4, Erika Newhouse with 2 and Lex Myers with 1.

Rebounding was led by Alivia Shaw 6 and Erika Newhouse 6. Morgan Cates had 3 as well.

Landri Hardman led the team with four assists followed by Alivia Shaw with 2 and several girls with one.

The JV lost a close game for only there second loss of the year and first conference loss.

Selah Sherron led the team with 8 points, Lilly Edwards with 7 and Sarah Beth Tripp had 6 points.
