Southwood JH Football Remains Perfect

The Southwood Knights junior high football team continues its perfect season after defeating Maconaquah 41-6 Tuesday.

Most of Southwood’s points were scored in the first half, scoring 34 of their 41 points. Notable players that were not included in scoring plays Bo Liddick had 2 receptions for 50+ plus yards that put the Knights in scoring position. Cooper Drake had an interception that would lead to the Knights scoring just before halftime. In the second have Logan Moore recovered a fumble that would eventually turn into the only score of the second half. The victory puts the night at (5-0) on the year. The Knights return home next week against Manchester on September 28th at 5:30.
