Manchester Unified Flag Football falls to New Haven 15 – 14

The Squires played their second game tonight against New Haven. Both teams showed great grit and focus for a close game of 14-15. Cody Lengel completes four passes in the opening drive, but turnover on downs for the Squires. Rheise Baker pulling flags for a stop.Resto D’Andrea with carry for a short gain. Gavin Betten completed pass to Cody Lengel for a rushing touchdown. Peyton Baker rushing for extra points. Cody Lengel completes another pass to Resto D’Andrea for a short gain. Brady Miller with the reverse for a short gain. Jacob Emerick rushing for 6 yards. Gavin Betten catches a pass for a touchdown. Cody Lengel completes a pass to Rheise Baker for short gain. Hunter Bean provided pressure on defense with Brady Miller that held the score close for Manchester and New Haven. The Squires play again at Homestead on September 13, 2023, at 5:30. The teams meeting up include Manchester, Homestead, East Noble, and Central Noble.

This evening at New Haven was different for all teams to play, but Unified Sports was exemplified by all teams. Manchester first played against Homestead where we tied 27-27.
