The Huntington North Lady Vikes picked up a win over Carmel Saturday 45-34.

This makes the Vikes 2-0 (0-0) on the year with wins over 2 preseason ranked teams.

The game was very evenly matched throughout. The Lady Vikes did break lose in the 3rd quarter out scoring the Greyhounds 14-7. Sr. Taylor Double (Marian Commit) paced the Lady Vikes with 26 pts 5 rebs and 5 steals. Sophomore Haiden Bailey added 9 pts 3 rebs 3 assist and Junior Gracie Fields had 6 pts 6 rebs. In the win Taylor Double tied Leah Campbell for 10th place all time at HN in steals with 142. Coach Matt Hinds also picked his 50th win at HN.
