Lady Norse Clinch Share Of TRC At Rochester
The Northfield Lady Norse traveled to Rochester Thursday looking for a win over the Zebras to clinch a share of the TRC title with Manchester. The Lady Norse wasted no time making that a reality, defeating Rochester 59-27.
The Lady Norse came out of the gate running, leaving a dust trail as they led 22-5 after the first stop. The pace a slowed a little in the second with the lead growing to 33-11 at the half.
The route continued in the third as Northfield built their lead to 50-20 before going on to the 59-27 win.
Kyra Kennedy led with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Ariel Dale had 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals. Kelcie Thomson added 12 points, 4 assists, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals.
The Northfield junior varsity defeated Rochester 32-22
Emily Pennington had 8 points and Addy Rosen had 8 points.
